Digestive Enzymes

You probably know that foods naturally contain their own enzymes, but when cooked these enzymes are destroyed. This, consequently, makes your pancreas manufacture more enzymes so that the food is properly digested.
It is a proven fact that the enzyme manufacturing capabilities of the body are NOT indefinite? So, the more you are taxing your pancreas to produce digestive enzymes, the less material you will have left to manufacture the other type of enzymes that control all your body processes and functions. And ultimately you will be making less and less of both of them which leads to premature aging, disease and etc.
I urge you to read the book “Enzyme Nutrition” by Dr. Howell. It will provide a new point of view on how you should approach each meal you are getting ready to put in your body.
My sincere advice (and I can’t be more serious than that) is to take a good digestive enzyme pill with every cooked or large meal. By good digestive enzyme I mean a vegetable enzyme that is made to work in wide PH environment, which ensures that you will be digesting your food more thoroughly throughout the digestive tract.
