Oh man, what can I tell you... No, no, rather
where should I start from..? I am so excited...
My developer is about finished with the upgrades
to the FitNA tool..
I barely keep myself from typing all about it..
It is what so many people asked for.. I'd run the
surveys and got amazing ideas for improvement
from there ;-) I was surprised myself!
Now, I am not going to tell you everything here
in this message, not just yet. Not before
I am certain I have thoroughly tested the new
upgrades and the system is working flawlessly.
One thing I can say, though. Yes, FitNA was
unique even before these upgrades, but now...
I don't know anything like it to have ever
been put down even on paper... Not in this
complexity... Not so powerful!
And with all the freedom some of the latest
changes give you...
Oh, well I better stop right here before I let
it all out.
I'm going to shoot you another message very
soon...

Well, we are a couple of weeks in 2007
already. I don't know about you but at this time
of the year I always think "New Year Resolutions"..
No, not for me, I am thinking about all these
people out there, who start the year very
excited about the changes they are going to
make starting January 1st... just to end up
quitting shortly thereafter..
The majority of the new year's resolutions end
this way.. How about yours? Did you see yourself
in the previous paragraph?
"Yes" did I hear?
Then keep reading..
I am going to lay down the several most
important factors for success this year. Just
try to live by them for only a few weeks and
you are going to make it through (no matter what
your fitness goal is, I mean ;-)
Why for a few weeks only?
Here it goes:
LAST UNTIL FEBRUARY
Yup, studies reveal that it takes anywhere
between 3 to 5 weeks for a new habit to form.
If you don't allow that much time, the switch
from voluntary action to habit will not kick
in.
So, let me say that again: Whether you are
going to end up like last year (and the year
before, and b..) or you are going to surprise
yourself this year, it all depends on you
sticking to your plans until at least
February!
SET UP THE DATES FOR YOUR FIRST SEVERAL
WORKOUTS
That's really what you need to do NOW -
take out your daily planner and write down
the dates and hours for your first several
workout sessions. This way you will not schedule
anything else during that time and YOU WILL
REALLY SHOW UP AT THE GYM!
DECIDE WHY YOU WANT TO EXERCISE AND WRITE
IT DOWN
Not only that but display it somewhere where
you can easily see it throughout the day.
Freezer door, bathroom mirror, etc.
This is how you keep yourself motivated!
DECIDE UPON A LONG TERM GOAL
It can be 15 lb fat loss or even entering
a fitness competition. Whatever it is write
it down.
SET WEEKLY GOALS
Jot down in your diary how much body fat you
expect to lose or how much lean muscle mass
you want to gain each week.
Realistic fat loss goal is not more than 0.5%
percent, or not more than 1 lb a week. For
lean muscle mass gain 0.5 lb a week.
Breaking down the big goal to smaller weekly
goals makes the big goal look less intimidating
and more achievable.
Also, reaching your goal each week gives you
the feel of accomplishment, which will
ultimately help you get where you want to be.
REWARD YOURSELF
I am not talking you meet your weekly fat loss
goal and go out to reward yourself with a nice
piece of cake..!
Promise yourself that every time you meet your
goal you will go buy yourself something little,
or go see a movie, or.. you get the idea.
Whatever it is it gives you something to look
forward to.

DO NOT MISS A WORKOUT
Especially before your new habits have formed!
If you miss one workout then you will miss a
second one...then you end up quitting...AND
JOINING THE COUNTLESS GROUP OF THE REST WHO
WILL DROP OUT, TOO!
KEEP A LOG
Write down everything - what your workout was
today, if you liked it or not, what could have
made it better and so forth.
But, you should absolutely necessary write what
you eat. You don't want to write down "Dark
Chocolate Mousse Cake - 1 piece", do you? I don't
think so.. Guess what.. Because you don't want
to see yourself writing it down, you are not
going to eat it! It's that simple..
And here it comes the most important one:
GET SUPPORT
Join a support group, community, forums, etc.
Get the support from others who have been there
or are there now.You can't even imagine how
reassuring it is to know that someone else is
going through the same you are going through
right now.
It is the most empowering and motivating
experience that you can have. The group is ALWAYS
stronger than the single individual!
But,... I am sure you know that very well..
Any way, there are quite a few places out there -
both online and offline.
In fact I am a member of a one such community
myself! It's called "Natural Bodybuilding
Uncovered" forums.
Yup, you guessed it. It is a part of my Members Area
and it requires a membership. I'm not going to lie
to you... I could give FitNA for free for a month
but the community.. NO! I don't let just about
anybody in.
ONLY THOSE, WHO ARE COMMITED DESERVE TO BE LET IN!
How you define commitment, I will leave that up
to you to decide..
And if your definition of commitment is close
to mine, you know what to do next..
