The “dragon flag” is an exercise I’ve been working on for several years – on and off. I’ve picked up on it lately, as a way of strengthening my core muscles. I used to do it with no weights (and be happy about my accomplishments [smile]) and later on I started adding weights.
My best weight was a medicine ball of 5 lbs – and that was a few years back. In the last couple of months I’ve managed to build up to 8 lbs for 6 reps. I will continue trying to increase either the number of reps or the weight of the medicine ball – and this way eventually increase the strength of my core muscles – abs and back muscles mainly.
