My Longevity and Anti-aging Supplement Stack at 51
Most people over 40 take supplements the way they buy groceries – whatever looks good on the shelf. A multivitamin, some fish oil. Maybe a protein powder because the fitness industry said so.
That’s not a thoughtful protocol.
At 51, my biological age sits around 42. Not because I take more supplements than everyone else. But because the supplements I take target this question – how do I keep repair pathways active and growth (anabolic) signals down-regulated?
Three pathways run the show:
- mTOR – the growth switch. After 40, you want this quieted down
- AMPK – the repair switch. You want this turned up
- Sirtuins – the DNA repair crew. They need NAD+ to function, and NAD+ drops every year once you hit 40

That’s the triangle. My entire stack is built around it.
NMN in the morning to feed Sirtuins. Berberine twice a day to keep AMPK active even when I eat. The rest fills gaps and manages inflammation.
My supplementation isn’t about optimization. It’s for maintaining my mid-age health, performance, and physicality levels for when the next decade of longevity science actually arrives.
