Not for us.The fire within us prevents that!This thing we call “life” is either do or die kinda deal.And, yet, there come times when the going gets toughWhen we feel disheartenedWhen we feel we want to crawl under a wet blanket, curl up and just hide in there.What do we do then?Do we shrink?Do we back off?Do we turn our eye away from fear?Do we succumb to self-doubt?Do we start feeling unworthy… to even be alive?What do we do?This is what the ones who KNOW deep on the inside that they are here for a reason do…This is what the ones who KNOW that they were meant for something bigger do…This is what the ones who KNOW that it’s either THEIR WAY or NO WAY do…This is what the ones called to STEP UP, to SERVE, and LEAD in a powerful way do…This is what the ones who have been beaten to the ground time, and time again do…When they find themselves fallen AGAINThey take a moment to…Acknowledge the fear and doubtAcknowledge the sadnessAcknowledge the resistanceAcknowledge that they are a human tooAnd, then they find the STRENGTH and COURAGE to…Accept themselves againAppreciate themselves againLove themselves againThen they put one hand down and pushThen they put the other hand down and pushThen they put one foot firmly on the groundThen the otherThen they stand up – AGAIN!Fully erect – AGAIN!In their glory – AGAIN!And, they take a step – ONCE AGAIN!And, they take another step – AGAIN!And, they stay upright!Chin up!Proud!Fully in their POWER!And, the fuel for their POWER, COURAGE, TENACITY, DETERMINATION, PERSISTENCE, GRITIs the knowing that:They were meant for something biggerThey are meant to live life on their own termsThey are here to serve in a powerful wayAnd, being down on your back is simplyNOTANOPTION!Period.The premise is very simple:For us falling down is a part of life.Getting back up is a part of life, too!It’s just how life is when we’ve chosen to answer the call to STEP UP and LEAD!(P.S.
